About the Event
What Bodies Remember in Summer - A Path to Summer Solstice
The body of the earth, the body of the sun, the body of the moon, the body of the cosmos and the human body exist in relationship with one another.
At the summer solstice, we arrive at the height of light. A moment of fullness and illumination, while also standing at the threshold of the season’s turning.
Something shifts in the quality of the air, the light, and the living world around us. Fruit grows from blossom to something with weight.. The land opens. The nervous system responds, often before the mind can explain why.
This is an invitation to slow down and return our attention to what is already here.
To sit in a living place long enough for its rhythms, sounds, textures, and movements to begin registering within the body.
